The team at Swishfund believe that small businesses succeed best when they are part of the community. Putting this into reality, Swishfund has a strong Corporate Social Responsibility program.


Funding to Numeric
Since 2024 Swishfund has provided funding to Numeric for the face-cost of Platinum Club Arsenal tickets (used for taking brokers to games).
Numeric is a South African charity that helps children in low-income areas to improve their maths literacy through after-school maths classes. To date, Swishfund has funded over 30 learners attending after-school classes, each for a year.
Building Brighter Futures with ootiboo
Our 2026 sponsorship is a donation to ootiboo which will support them in their mission to foster critical thinking, resilience, and problem-solving skills in children in the UK aged 5 to 11. ootiboo have been operating since 2022, and more information on them can be found on their website.

Swishfund recognizes that time is as important as money. Our employees are encouraged to use office hours (when needed) to support their CSR-related activities.
Within Swishfund's small team, we have individuals who:
- Run an online Men's Health workshop program
- Charitable trustee for the Brentford Community Boat House, which provides access to rowing for children from state-schools
- Volunteer at Barnet Environmental Centre (part of Noah's Ark Childrens' Hospice)
- Lead a local youth church group
- Regularly carry out local litter-picking activities

Swishfund has long supporting been ESG-related activities too.
Here are a few of our previous activities in this space, supporting local and global communities:
- Becoming the first carbon neutral fintech lender in 2020
- Planting c.2500 trees in a year to help offset the carbon of our customers
- Campaigning the UK Government to provide partial guarantees for funding to environmentally responsible small businesses
- Developing a research project with 4Most Risk Consultancy investigating whether environmentally responsible businesses have better credit risk and should receive cheaper funding (answer: they should).
- Participating in the 2022 “Kickstart Scheme” for 16-24-year-olds on Universal Credit to get real-world training and experience in the workplace.
